About the position
The Junior Tennis Pro at Little Rock Athletic Centers is responsible for instructing tennis lessons for members and guests, as well as leading junior tennis academy classes. The role requires maintaining a professional and encouraging environment on the courts, scheduling lessons in collaboration with the Tennis Desk Attendant, and fostering connections with members. The instructor will teach both fundamental and advanced tennis skills, develop tailored training programs, and uphold club policies while assisting with junior programs and tennis academies. Maintaining required certifications is also essential to this position.
Responsibilities
- Instruct tennis lessons for members and guests of the Athletic Centers.
- Instruct junior tennis academy classes.
- Maintain a professional, hospitable, and encouraging environment on the tennis courts.
- Work with the Tennis Desk Attendant to schedule tennis lessons.
- Greet and make connections with members.
- Instruct clients in the fundamental and advanced components of Tennis, including modern stroke production, rules of the game, sportsmanship, and strategy.
- Develop effective Tennis training techniques in programs for clients per their needs and goals.
- Identify and work toward improving client-specific opportunities and growth.
- Maintain required certifications.
- Assist with Club Junior Programs and Tennis Academies.
- Know and enforce Club policies.

Requirements
- Collegiate level of Tennis
- PTR or USPTA certification
- Patience, tact, and clear communication skills
- Strategic problem solving and time management
- Excellent customer service skills
