About the position

Craftech Industries is seeking a Jr. WordPress Designer to support the Marketing Department in Hudson, NY. This temporary position, estimated to last six months, involves collaborating on the online catalog design and making various website edits. The role requires a blend of design skills and technical knowledge, particularly in WordPress and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to finalize the online catalog design.
• Make website edits including content changes, creating forms, creating tables, and updating menu items.
• Utilize WPBakery Page Builder for page building tasks.
• Employ industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Implement SEO strategies as needed.
• Hand code HTML and CSS when required.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Marketing Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior accounts receivable/accounts payable experience and general office skills (2 years or more).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to commute to Hudson, NY daily.
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SEO is a plus.
• Ability to hand code HTML and CSS is a plus.
