Join a fast-growing software development company in Boca Raton as a Full Stack Tools Developer. This role involves building tools that contribute to award-winning mobile online games played in over 40 countries, consistently ranked in the top 10 in major markets. The position emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance game design and development through modern web tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with small, rotating, interdisciplinary teams to produce web tools for game design and development.
- Partner closely with the development community to design, implement, and improve internal tool development.
- Work with a modern tech stack including React, MongoDB, Prisma, SQL, TypeScript, and Node.js, utilizing Git workflows.
- Write well-architected, structured, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, providing thoughtful, constructive, and thorough feedback.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with React, GraphQL, and Docker.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development in any major programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Java, etc.).
- Solid understanding of database design and implementation using relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust back-end APIs.
- Good understanding of general OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, debugging skills, memory management, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with modern development team workflows (pull requests, code reviews, package management).
- Clear communication skills in code, writing, and speaking.
- A positive attitude and a desire to grow.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Mobile development experience and familiarity with its challenges and optimizations.
- Contributions to open-source projects, game jams, personal projects.
- Passion for AI.
