About the position

The Juice Bar Associate at Staff of Life is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving organic beverages and food items in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-motivated team player with a passion for natural and organic foods, and will engage graciously with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve organic coffee, espresso, juice, and smoothie drinks.
• Serve bakery and other prepared food items.
• Keep café workspace and public area clean.
• Stock supplies and proactively anticipate needs.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and process payments.
• Greet every customer and offer assistance.
• Complete the ServSafe Food Handlers course within the first 30 days of hire.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation laws and guidelines.
• Clean up any debris throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Barista/Juice/Smoothie Bar experience.
• Cashier experience.
• Positive, energetic, outgoing personality.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Knowledge or interest in natural and organic foods.
