About the position
The Juice Barista position at CROSSMARK is a part-time role located in Bluffton, South Carolina, primarily within a Sam's Club environment. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, active work setting where they can engage with customers while producing and packaging fresh juice products. The role involves a variety of tasks including the preparation of fruits, operation of juicing machines, and ensuring that all products meet food safety standards. The Juice Barista will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the juicing equipment, which is essential for delivering high-quality products to customers. Responsibilities
- Preparing oranges and other fruits for juicing.
- Operating the juicing machine to produce fresh juice.
- Packaging the juice products for sale.
- Maintaining and cleaning the juicing machine and related equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety requirements and regulations.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds and maneuver a large commercial juicing machine.
- Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, walk, and move throughout the entire shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a food service or retail environment is a plus, but not required.
- Military experience is welcomed.
