About the position
The position involves ensuring safety compliance and performing maintenance and repair tasks on mining equipment, specifically focusing on jumbo drills. The role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to following all Mine site safety rules, procedures and regulations, while ensuring the safety of others
- Development - horizontal and vertical
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mining equipment and ancillary equipment, including light vehicles as required
- Ensure projects are carried out in a timely, cost efficient and meticulous manner
- Other duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- Experience operating Epiroc T20, Atlas Jumbo M2C or similar
- Experience in all aspects of operating a jumbo
- Minimum 2 years spent in a lead jumbo role
