About the position

The Junior Accountant / Office Manager is responsible for managing essential financial accounts and providing comprehensive administrative support for a Real Estate Development Company in North Miami Beach, Florida. This role involves maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, handling reconciliation processes, managing payroll tax payments, and supporting company operations with efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records across multiple project accounts in QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and company credit cards monthly.
  • Process quarterly payroll tax payments and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  • Organize and manage expenses, invoice payables, and accounts receivable.
  • File annual reports for the company and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including account management and reconciliation.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and optimize processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
