About the position

As a Junior Accountant at CreativeMC, you will play a vital role in the finance team by managing client billing, vendor management, and ensuring timely receipt of payments. This position requires basic accounting experience and offers opportunities for growth within a supportive and vibrant work culture.

Responsibilities

• Assists with client billing including the collection of vendor charges and completing invoices.
• Researches and applies appropriate freight estimates and quotes.
• Posts vendor bills into QuickBooks and tracks credit holding accounts.
• Processes client credit card payments and posts check payments.
• Negotiates credit arrangements with vendors and tracks orders for billing information.
• Makes corrections to orders in Salesforce based on actual costs from vendors.
• Keeps up to date on overall team activities and identifies problem areas.
• Assists Finance Director and Accounting Manager with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• AA or bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of operational accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Proficient with Google spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QuickBooks for 3 years preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for 3 years preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce for 1 year preferred.
