Responsibilities

  • Processing and entering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
  • Assisting the AP team with daily banking activities
  • Preparing and analyzing company expenditures
  • Auditing, reviewing, and processing credit card transactions
  • Recording and reconciling general ledger entries
  • Developing and verifying spreadsheet reports to support financial decision-making
  • Preparing accruals, managing disbursement requests, and reconciling accounts
  • Recommending and supporting process improvements in accounting operations
  • Providing data and responding to inquiries from stakeholders and auditors
  • Conducting financial research and interpreting data
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial information
  • Staying current on accounting trends through continuing education and professional networking
  • Supporting the overall mission of Hill Brothers by completing additional accounting tasks as assigned
  • Adhering to regular attendance and compliance with all company policies

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 1 year in diverse accounting functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel experience required)
  • Experience with TMW, TMT, TransFlo, and Great Plains is a plus
