The DARO Reporting and Operations Junior Analyst role is designed for professionals eager to gain exposure to the private markets industry and develop essential skills for investment analysis and reporting. As a Junior Analyst, you will develop a deep understanding of private financial markets by collaborating closely with all SPAR teams to support active investment data management and reconciliation efforts within the StepStone investment reporting and analytics system, known as "SPI Reporting." This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for a 16-week paid opportunity, with the possibility of extending for an additional 16-week term or transitioning to a permanent role. In this role, you will provide operational support for daily valuation clients, ensuring timely service to specific client accounts with rapid turnaround daily reporting requirements. You will also support discretionary investment client operations, including cash flows, quarterly capital account balances, and portfolio company analysis, through timely system entry, review, reconciliation, and reporting of new and ongoing investment data activity. Active daily communication with the team, including live meetings and issue resolution, will be essential. Additionally, you will manage proprietary database investment data for discretionary funds and investments, including new investment commitments, daily capital activity, and quarterly capital account/fair market values. You will also have the opportunity to learn and develop technical skills that will enhance the DARO suite of processes, including SQL, Power BI, DAX, and advanced Excel.
