The Junior Applications Developer will assist in developing and maintaining robust, scalable, high-performance applications using Sitecore XM, C# and Javascript. This individual will work with cross-functional teams in capturing requirements and in the delivery of new solutions. In this capacity, the Junior Applications Developer will: Assist in the design, development and maintenance of software in Azure/AWS cloud; Assist in the creation of custom solutions utilizing Sitecore XM; Maintenance of on premise applications/components in a Windows environment; Work with team leads and other application development resources to architect, build and deliver custom solutions; Write code using established best practices; Stay informed and follow secure development best practices; and Ability to communicate technology solutions to diverse teams across the Firm. Proficiencies include software engineering best practices, full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps; Knowledge in C#, .Net, Angular, Python, CSS, Jquery, Bootstrap, Nextjs, and JavaScript; Understanding of Service Integration, Personalization, SEO, multi-site, multi-lingual sites; Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design and practices; Familiarity with design patterns; RDBMS experience (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) designing tables & writing queries. NoSQL experience is a strong plus; and Understanding on API strategies, Integration Patterns and best practices.
