About the position

The Junior Business Analyst will support the VHA Office of Health Informatics (OHI) EHRM by designing and implementing a responsive decision-making model. This role involves providing decision management, research and analysis, program management, and communications support to enhance organizational effectiveness within the VHA governance structure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a lean decision-making model for VHA OHI EHRM.
• Provide decision management and research analysis support.
• Assist in program management and communications efforts.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure common understanding of requirements.
• Create concise and compelling briefing materials and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in a professional work setting.
• Background or interest in IT systems from a technical and management perspective.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication and relationship skills to engage diverse personality types.
• Proficient in Excel for data processing and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior or current experience with the Federal Government.
• Familiarity with Tableau software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio.
