About the position

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst at Healthfuse plays a crucial role in enhancing internal and client processes through automation and data visualization. This position involves analyzing industry and client-specific data to recommend business process improvements and contract negotiations, ultimately contributing to the financial health of healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx for BI Reporting tools.
  • Write complex SQL queries on multiple tables using complex joins.
  • Prepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows supporting BI reports.
  • Perform end-to-end data validation.
  • Identify and develop hospital clients' baseline revenue cycle vendor performance.
  • Customize and develop Healthfuse's client reporting packages.
  • Research and analyze the quantitative and qualitative performance of healthcare revenue cycle vendors.
  • Create monthly inventory reconciliation reporting packages.
  • Lead the organization's efforts regarding vendor profiling, analysis, and new client sourcing needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred; work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • High data analytics and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of MSSQL and Azure.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx.
  • Knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of experience using MSSQL and Azure.
  • 1+ years of related experience with Alteryx.
  • 1+ years of experience using BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred.
  • Action-oriented, independent, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a high activity/fast-paced environment.
  • Project management skills, ability to define and manage processes and projects, making recommendations for improvement when necessary.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong business analytics acumen.

  • Ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, package the data for further consumption, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
