About the position

The Sr Analyst, Supply Chain at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytics projects within the Supply Chain function. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the delivery of effective reporting solutions that meet business objectives, while also educating users on data assets and enhancing decision-making through analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to create Reporting & Analytics solutions for the end-to-end Supply Chain team.
• Collaborate and build working relationships across business units to develop strategic solutions based on functional requirements.
• Understand Supply Chain business problems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to solve them through data and analytics.
• Identify synergies for standardizing Reporting projects across business units.
• Educate Supply Chain reporting users on leveraging data for enhanced decision-making.
• Manage all phases of the development life cycle for data and analytics solutions.
• Enforce standards and best practices for BI reporting tools like Tableau.
• Document business requirements and processes to ensure data reliability.
• Develop reporting for acquisition diligence as needed.
• Partner with IT to ensure availability of BI systems and resolve data issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new BI technologies to enhance productivity.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and special project work.

Requirements

• Bachelors' Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant analytical and reporting development experience or equivalent education and work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Intermediate proficiency with SQL querying preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of systems project work and familiarity with Data Architecture.
• Experience working with multiple business areas such as Supply Chain and Operations.
• Experience in the Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Industry preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
