About the position

We are looking for a Junior Copywriter to join the bloomon Creative team. Reporting to the Senior Copywriter who is responsible for our Dutch TOV, the copywriter will work alongside creative designers, art directors and production to help bring beautiful, thoughtful ideas to life that delight our customers. This role will deliver, and ensure, that all copy from product descriptions to campaign touchpoints on our channels are beautifully written and aligned to our tone of voice. We're looking for someone who is forward-thinking, curious to learn and expand their knowledge and skill sets, and excited by the meaningful impact their work can have.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Creative team to deliver best-in-class brand storytelling, marrying visuals and copy to create compelling content and clear calls to action for customers.
  • Write excellent copy and work under the direction of the Senior Copywriter and Creative Lead, while also suggesting ideas.
  • Develop knowledge of market-specific propositions to create impactful copy that contributes to commercial success.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Range, Digital Marketing, and Commercial country marketing teams.
  • Adopt a test and learn mentality, designing measurable copy tests to optimize communications.

Requirements

  • 1/2+ years of Dutch copywriting experience, either in-house or in agency.
  • Experience writing for ecommerce or D2C brands is ideal.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
  • Experience working collaboratively with creatives and designers.
  • Experience in working with Figma to deliver copy within designs.
  • Experience with Asana or a similar project management tool is a bonus.

Nice-to-haves

  • A good understanding of brand communications and how copy contributes to their success.
  • Understanding of how people consume digital content in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and excited to learn about developing copy for different channels.
