About the position

The Junior Copywriter at Little Sleepies is responsible for creating engaging and on-brand copy for various marketing channels, including emails, product descriptions, and social media. This role involves collaboration with the Creative, eCommerce, and Marketing teams to ensure that all copy aligns with the brand's voice and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative and proactive writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to help build a brand that inspires families.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling and fun on-brand copy that meets marketing objectives for all channels, including emails and site assets.
• Become familiar with the product line and understand customer communication.
• Maintain a clear and consistent brand voice across all channels.
• Collaborate with the Copywriter to create copy themes and concepts for new releases and promotions.
• Write product descriptions and meta descriptions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Create copy for releases, promotions, and campaigns, including emails and web banners.
• Support the marketing team with copy for A/B tests on various campaigns.
• Develop blog content for product education and SEO initiatives.
• Collaborate with external agencies to create effective copy for ads.
• Innovate ways to engage customers through copy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a collaborative writing position.
• Experience in eCommerce or apparel brands is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing and copywriting for various channels.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Slack, Asana, and Google Suite.
• Proficiency in Figma is preferred.
• Ability to use AI to optimize workflow.
• Hyper-organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of SEO.
