The Junior Data Analyst will be a crucial member of the Store Operations team, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights through the creation of Power BI dashboards. This role involves collaborating with business partners to gather data, developing tailored reports, and ensuring data quality and integrity. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about data analysis and visualization, with a focus on supporting the operational needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather data from diverse sources and uncover valuable trends and patterns.
  • Identify new reporting opportunities and develop tailored reports to meet the evolving needs of our field and store teams.
  • Design visually appealing and informative Power BI dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights.
  • Provide comprehensive training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize our reporting tools.
  • Document reporting processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our data, ensuring reliable and trustworthy reporting.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests to address specific business needs.
  • Work closely with the business to identify opportunities for improving data collection and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of off-price retail models.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake architectures.
  • Experience working with large datasets to extract, manipulate, and analyze performance using business intelligence tools.
