About the position

AERMOR LLC is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to work directly with customers to assess their needs and develop plans, designs, and schedules for database systems. This role involves applying computer science concepts to the design, development, installation, and maintenance of relational databases, ensuring effective data management and access.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of relational databases.
• Develop and maintain necessary public synonyms, database links, and user access controls.
• Provide database tuning and monitoring to ensure effective and efficient data access, including performance ratio comparisons.
• Tune memory, configuration, disk I/O, and application software for optimal database performance.
• Design and maintain the physical layout of databases and calculate disk space requirements for database tables and indexes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ORACLE or SQL SERVER
• Expertise in the use of appropriate database tools and techniques.
