The Junior Database Architect position at Leidos is designed for individuals with 0-2 years of hands-on experience who are eager to grow within the company. This role involves working under the supervision of more senior technical staff to design strategies for enterprise databases and data warehouse systems. The position emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and delivering high-quality solutions to customers, particularly in support of the Secretary of the Air Force.

Responsibilities

• Design strategies for enterprise databases and data warehouse systems under supervision.
• Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security in collaboration with technical experts.
• Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses as part of a team.
• Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow with senior architects.
• Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures and refine system performance and functionality.

Requirements

• Current Secret level clearance.
• Ability to apply Database Architect methodologies to Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment (OM&S) of Mission Partner Environments (MPE).
• Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of prior relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of BICES-X or other MPE Programs.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
