About the position

The Junior Database Developer role is designed for a skilled individual with 5-7 years of experience in SQL Server, MSBI (SSIS/SSAS), and Power BI. The primary focus of this position is to develop and optimize database solutions, manage database activities, and create enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing complex queries and have a strong understanding of database performance tuning and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Manage database activities such as upgrade, backup, recovery, and migration.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes and SSAS cubes for data analysis.
• Design and implement reporting solutions using SQL Server and business intelligence tools.
• Develop Power BI models and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Install and configure SQL Server instances and ensure proper setup and management.
• Work with MSSQL and MongoDB databases, leveraging their strengths for various applications.
• Provide clear documentation and communicate technical issues to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions, including Power BI dashboards.
• Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
