About the position

The Junior Demand Planner at Alpinestars USA plays a crucial role in supporting the sales management team across various channels, including Moto, Auto, Cycling, and Clothing. This position focuses on developing and maintaining accurate forecast models for product categories, ensuring effective inventory management, and analyzing sales trends to optimize market presence. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecast models for various product categories using analytical skills and forecast information from Sales and other sources.
• Communicate with Sales Management to analyze the business, understand customers, and manage inventory levels.
• Ensure that seasonal forecasting remains accurate as more information becomes available in the demand process.
• Own all stages of the forecast for the season and work closely with Sales Management.
• Responsible for monthly and rolling three-month forecast accuracy and improvement.
• Validate information and help identify trends for the Sales team.
• Identify concerning sales and inventory level trends and work with relevant parties to resolve issues.
• Build slow-moving inventory reports and collaborate with Sales to address these issues.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Demand Planning experience required, preferably in the apparel industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of Excel and database management; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders to drive cross-functional results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing exceptional deliverables.
