About the position

The Junior DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in managing CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, ensuring that both development and quality assurance teams can automate their processes effectively. This position focuses on maintaining security best practices throughout the CI/CD lifecycle and troubleshooting any issues that arise during builds and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development teams with CI build pipeline automation.
• Assist the quality assurance teams with both CI and CD test automation.
• Ensure both CI and CD pipelines follow security best practices.
• Perform builds and deployments to all environments.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues in both ADO and the Azure Console.
• Manage the full life cycle of ADO CI/CD pipelines, including creation and changes as needed.

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Azure DevOps Certification (AZ-400).
• Two or more years' experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and follow the principles thereof.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with several teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Cloud resources and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Azure Cloud monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of Azure security principles and tools.
• Working knowledge of .Net SDK and Core, PowerShell, YAML and Terraform.
• Working knowledge of monitoring of various Azure services, includes storage, databases, and services.
• Prior experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft (Azure Dev Ops).
• Experience working with human or animal health clinical data.
