The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance trading operations, ensuring efficient data management and system support.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Develop Python scripts and applications to automate trading processes and data analysis.
• Provide technical support for existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system efficiency.
• Work with traders and analysts to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in SQL and Python development, preferably in a Commodities Trading environment.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL processes, and knowledge of trading systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Informatica (1 year preferred).
• Experience with data warehousing (1 year preferred).
