About the position
The Junior Developer at Kforce Inc will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing applications for both desktop and web platforms. This role emphasizes adherence to secure coding practices and involves analyzing code segments created by junior developers to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and implement desktop and web-based applications following industry accepted design methodologies.
- Implement and follow secure coding guidelines and best practices.
- Analyze and review code segments of junior developers for accuracy and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing applications using Java and Python.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with writing and optimizing SQL objects.
- Familiarity with source code repositories such as TFS, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work within a project-based environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
