About the position
CACI is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support our customer at NSWC Crane. You will be responsible for the technical rigor, and support the Program Manager and Chief Engineer on the organization, direction and coordination planning and execution of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects. You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills and ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer. Your role will involve defining electrical system implementation approaches and operational concepts, developing models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development, and providing technical inputs related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff. You will work with CACI Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and DoD customers to capture design requirements and develop products for testing and evaluation. Additionally, you will support electrical system analyses at all levels for total system product integration, attend project meetings as assigned, and handle project coordination and document control, including the generation and review of technical documentation. You will also perform market research analysis of electrical materials and resources, develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services. Supporting the Program Manager and Chief Engineer, you will identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations, and technical evaluations, while closely monitoring project team performance to ensure technical rigor and timely delivery of materials and parts to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager and Chief Engineer in planning and executing delivery order projects.

Requirements
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to support management of project schedules and integrations.
- Experience with software languages, including C/C++, Python, and Linux.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.
- Experience with project initiation and tailoring, and industry accepted technical rigor practices.
- Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules.
- Experience with requirements generation, traceability, review, and tracking.
- Experience with program management, readiness reviews, and governance boards.
- Experience with conducting technical exchange meetings.
- Experience working in team environments.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements tracking and program documentation.
- Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
