About the position

Attain Partners is seeking a Junior Executive Assistant & Project Control Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting the Director and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including managing an active calendar of appointments, composing and preparing correspondence, compiling documents for meetings, arranging travel, and completing expense reports. The ideal candidate will be proactive and flexible, able to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion. In this role, you will serve as a calendar gatekeeper, ensuring that the Director's schedule is followed and prioritized effectively. You will demonstrate leadership by maintaining credibility and trust with senior management and staff, handling conflicting needs with efficiency, and following through on projects to successful completion. The ability to work a flexible schedule is essential, as you may need to complete time-sensitive or special projects as they arise. The Junior Executive Assistant will also be expected to exercise independent judgment when making decisions and interacting with executives, clients, and employees. Strong organizational skills, excellent writing abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are critical for success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Complete a broad range of administrative tasks, including managing an active calendar of appointments.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence and compile documents for meetings.
  • Arrange travel and complete expense reports.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the Director's schedule is followed.
  • Serve as a calendar gatekeeper, prioritizing conflicting needs and handling matters expeditiously.
  • Demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management and staff.
  • Follow through on projects to successful completion, often under deadline pressures.
  • Work a flexible schedule as needed to complete time-sensitive or special projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing skills with good grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure in written business communications.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment when making decisions.
