About the position

The Junior Financial Analyst will be part of the Controlling Team at the Lincolnshire production plant of HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth Company. This role focuses on creating transparency in financial processes, supporting the Plant Controller, and collaborating with various departments to enhance productivity and profitability through automated reporting and analysis. The position offers opportunities to contribute to key decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for all departments to increase productivity.
  • Review profitability of new and existing business and provide analysis to the business.
  • Contribute to key decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing department to analyze work efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Support a continuous improvement culture by producing value-adding reports that drive improvement actions.
  • Act as a business partner by offering financial support to commercial decision-makers.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports to evaluate adherence to budgets.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
  • Guide the cost analysis of capital spending by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or similar fields.
  • Experience in finance or managerial accounting, preferably in an industrial company, through internships or similar roles.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German or Italian is a plus.
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills.
