About the position

The Junior Full Stack React/Node.js Developer position at Dev Technology Group, Inc. is designed for an entry-level developer who will engage in Agile Software Development to support the client's mission. The role encompasses the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to coding and testing, while fostering collaboration within the team and enhancing personal skill sets in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Agile Software Development for systems supporting client missions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to coding and testing.
• Communicate project status, including issues and risks, to the team.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve problems and meet client needs.
• Learn new technologies and skills on the job.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a development environment.
• Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (Angular).
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Tools.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and their relation to supporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with SPA concepts and libraries.
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Junit.
• Experience in writing SQL and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or Dynamo DB.
• ICE cleared.
• USCIS, CBP, or Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Any other DHS or government clearance preferred.
