About the position

The Junior Full Stack React/Node.js Developer position at Dev Technology Group involves participating in Agile Software Development for systems that support the client's mission. The role encompasses software development from requirements gathering through coding and testing, while also requiring effective communication of status, issues, and risks to the team. The developer will collaborate with team members to resolve problems and will have opportunities to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a development environment.
• Experience with full stack application development.
• Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (Angular).
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Tools.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and their relation to supporting systems.
• Ability to research problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to meet client needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Java (preferred).
• Experience with AWS Lambda (preferred).
• Experience with SPA concepts and libraries (preferred).
• Experience with agile and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Junit (preferred).
• Experience in writing SQL and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and/or Dynamo DB (highly preferred).
• ICE cleared preferred.
• USCIS, CBP, or Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Any other DHS clearance preferred.
• Any other government clearance preferred.
