About the position

The Junior Graphic Designer will join a creative team at a cultural/science institution, working 40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity in Jersey City for a duration of 6-12 months. This role focuses on creating visually appealing graphics for various social media platforms to enhance the institution's brand presence online. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, knowledgeable about social media trends, and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing graphics for social media advertisements and content for Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts.
• Stay updated on current social media trends and platform specifications.
• Create visually engaging content that aligns with brand integrity.
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience in social media ad design.
