About the position

The Junior Graphic Designer role at Chike is a part-time position focused on creating visually engaging content that enhances the brand and drives consumer interaction. Responsibilities

• Design engaging and responsive email designs for weekly marketing campaigns using Figma and HTML.
• Collaborate with the marketing teammates to ensure cohesive messaging and aesthetics across all designs.
• Provide critical creative support in updating and maintaining Chike's website and third-party storefronts like Amazon and Shopify with new products, promotions, and content.
• Assist in implementing design changes and optimizations based on user feedback and data insights.
• Conduct monthly audits of the website and digital assets to ensure visual consistency and optimize user engagement.
• Design and run A/B tests for various online campaigns to optimize conversion rates.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new marketing campaigns.
• Support the marketing team with graphic design tasks for social media, online ads, and other promotional materials.
• Ensure all designs meet the guidelines and standards set by the Chike brand.
• Work under the supervision of the Creative Manager to meet deadlines and project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field
• Proficient in Figma, HTML, and Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Experience with email marketing design and responsive layouts
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative thinker with attention to detail
• Familiarity with web design and basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, particularly in digital media
• Excellent communication skills and ability to receive constructive feedback.
