Position: Junior Graphic Designer You love the fine art of typography and nerd out over online animations. When crafting clients' identity and website, you make Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign sing. You are the next evolutionary step in the designer's path. We're talking digital, web, print - the works. As a Junior Graphic Designer at Catapult, the majority of the work involves collaborating with full-time designers to compile exquisite visuals for websites and crafting social media campaign graphics. You'll also be asked to tap into a brand's identity and visually bring it to life across multiple channels. This is a highly collaborative role with a lot of perks. The ideal candidate knows and is comfortable with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and is a fast learner, able to pick up and adapt to new technology and software quickly. You will demonstrate expertise in UI/UX best practices and current design trends (both web and print), and be familiar with popular CMS platforms, having experience with at least one web framework. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial, as is a solid understanding of design concepts. Real-world experience is a plus, but a killer portfolio will get you in the door. You should see the potential in every assignment, big or small, and care about the little details. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential, along with a relevant degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or equivalent experience. You should also have a willingness to learn additional skills and software for a collaborative environment, as well as strong time-management skills, being a self-motivated self-starter. Agency experience is preferred.
