About the position

New Home Star is seeking a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join their Marketing Team. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to support the corporate office and new home builder partners in creating effective marketing materials. The role emphasizes collaboration in a fun and ambitious environment, with a focus on personal development and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing/sales assets for new marketing initiatives.
• Develop brand identities for new home communities and builder clients.
• Research and analyze appropriate design options for client requests.
• Maintain collateral update requests for both web and print applications.
• Evaluate and recommend subscription services and web tools.
• Keep current on website trends and aid in the evaluation of marketing goals/successes.
• Maintain workflow within the Project Management System.
• Attend weekly review/status meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience in Graphic Design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of branding and the role of visual elements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a drive for high-quality work.
• Self-starter with a hunger for learning and improvement.
