About the position

AKRF, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Graphic Designer to join their centralized marketing team in New York City. The role involves implementing the firm's visual identity across various media and producing marketing materials to support corporate marketing needs. The designer will collaborate with senior graphic designers and the creative director to create visually appealing graphics for client deliverables and corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Implement the firm's visual identity in print, digital, and physical formats for corporate marketing needs.
• Produce marketing deliverables such as proposal graphics, tear sheets, presentations, ads, flyers, and posters.
• Design graphics and page layouts for client deliverables including technical reports and community outreach materials.
• Edit and retouch photos, with proficiency in photography being a plus.
• Support production needs like printing and cutting business cards, mounting presentation boards, and binding hardcopy deliverables.

Requirements

• Accredited college degree in graphic design or a related discipline.
• 0-1 years of graphic design experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite—specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat—along with MS PowerPoint.
• Exhibit a high level of creativity.
• Commitment to quality control and attention to detail.
