About the position

The Cannabis Junior Graphic Designer at Proper Brands will be responsible for creating high-quality, on-brand content and designs for both digital and print media. This role involves collaborating with the design team to develop creative concepts that align with the brand's vision, producing marketing materials, and maintaining the company's social media presence. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the overall mission of Proper Brands in the legal cannabis market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the design team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with the brand's vision and objectives.
• Supporting the production of marketing materials and merchandise, ensuring high-quality and on-brand design deliverables.
• Creating engaging graphics to support the retail and wholesale departments.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing innovative ideas to enhance design projects.
• Maintaining organized files and documentation for design projects, ensuring easy accessibility and version control.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by start date.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva or comparable software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers.
• Strong time management skills, both written and verbal.
• A portfolio showcasing design work, demonstrating creative abilities required, including but not limited to graphic design, digital art, typography.

Nice-to-haves
