About the position

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the creation of packaging designs within the consumer electronics industry. This role requires collaboration with team members and involves working onsite in Manhattan, New York, five days a week. The designer will be responsible for understanding project requirements, producing print design solutions, and pitching creative ideas.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and concepts
• Use various techniques to create print drafts, models, and prototypes
• Produce final print design solutions like logos, packaging concepts & interfaces
• Pitch creative ideas
• Collaborate with team members on various projects
• Take on special design tasks such as color correction & Photoshop editing

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of work experience as a Junior Graphic Designer
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with design techniques such as setting up print files for final production
• Understanding of visual elements such as layout, type, and fonts
• Bachelor in Graphic Design or a related field is a must
