About the position

The Junior Instructional Designer/E-Learning Coordinator at TEKsystems is responsible for developing effective training curricula that utilize appropriate instructional methods tailored to the content and learner needs. This role focuses on aiding successful knowledge transfer through the design and development of various training materials for online and instructor-led training.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the design and development of content-based curricula for online training, Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Blended learning.
• Creates eLearning courses, trainer guides, employee handbooks, training publications, classroom exercises, video scripts, and training aides.
• Actively participates in project kickoffs, content meetings, reviews, and other project-based meetings as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in adult education/training, instructional design, or a related field.
• In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years of combined education and closely-related experience may be considered.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and independently when necessary.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Experience in building and maintaining training materials.
• Project management and/or training coordination experience.
• Training facilitation experience.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline or Studio (Articulate 360 preferred).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects).
