About the position

Noblis is seeking a Junior Level Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to work in Reston, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with a Senior ISD to gather learning requirements from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), scientists, and clients, and design effective learning solutions that enhance mission effectiveness. You will utilize learner-centric principles to create both synchronous and asynchronous materials, employing ADDIE and SAM models to develop engaging learning experiences. Your role will also involve collecting and analyzing feedback to ensure continuous improvement of learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Senior ISD to interview SMEs, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements.
• Design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools.
• Utilize ADDIE and SAM models to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies, such as the Kirkpatrick Model.
• Implement adjustments to learning solutions based on feedback and evaluation results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience conducting in-person or web-based training.
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards.
• Familiarity designing and developing SCORM-conformant content.
• Working knowledge of rapid learning development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline).
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
