About the position

Noblis is seeking a Junior Level Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) in Reston, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with a Senior ISD to gather learning requirements from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), scientists, and clients, and recommend solutions to enhance mission effectiveness. You will design both synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools, utilizing learner-centric principles and the ADDIE and SAM models to create engaging learning experiences. Your role will also involve collecting and analyzing results to ensure the effectiveness of learning solutions, contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Senior ISD to interview SMEs, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements.
• Design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools.
• Utilize ADDIE and SAM models to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Collect and analyze results using various evaluation methodologies, including the Kirkpatrick Model.
• Solicit ideas and gather information from stakeholders to incorporate feedback throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience conducting in-person or web-based training.
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards.
• Familiarity designing and developing SCORM-conformant content.
• Working knowledge of rapid learning development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of internal staff and external clients.
