About the position

PRID, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Junior Interior Designer to assist with all aspects of the interior architectural design process, from concept development to project completion. This full-time position involves working closely with the senior designer and company president, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards through effective communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the interior architectural design process.
• Conduct research and participate in design plans.
• Communicate with clients and contractors to ensure project completion.
• Manage printed hard copies of architectural drawings and keep them organized.
• Attend client meetings locally and out of state to assist the Principal and Senior Designer.
• Take notes at meetings, create minutes, and distribute them to the team.
• Liaise with and oversee on-site work of vendors and contractors.
• Assist the design team with presentations and product research.
• Manage project timelines and suggest updates to stay on schedule.
• Collaborate with the design team and Installation Managers for project installations.
• Create agendas for meetings and maintain office organization.
• Schedule travel itineraries and arrangements for the team.
• Perform personal errands for the president and senior designer.
• Create construction binders for team members.
• Organize all digital files in Drop Box, including project notes and material selections.
• Maintain the material and sample library.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture.
• 3 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in high-end residential or commercial design.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
