About the position

PRID is seeking a highly motivated Junior Interior Designer to assist with all aspects of the interior architectural design process, from concept development to project completion. This full-time contract position involves working closely with the senior designer and company president, ensuring that projects meet high standards through effective communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with architectural drawings management and ensure printed hard copies are organized.
• Attend client meetings locally and out of state to support the Principal and Senior Designer.
• Take notes during meetings, create minutes, and distribute them to the team.
• Liaise with and oversee on-site work of vendors and contractors.
• Assist the design team with preparing for presentations and conducting product research.
• Help manage project timelines and suggest updates to stay on schedule.
• Collaborate with the design team and Installation Managers during project installations.
• Create agendas for all meetings and maintain an organized office environment.
• Schedule travel itineraries and arrangements for the team.
• Perform personal errands for the president and senior designer.
• Create construction binders for team members and organize digital files in Drop Box.
• Maintain the material and sample library and overall office organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture.
• 3 years of experience in AutoCAD.
• 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in high-end residential or commercial.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Experience in high-end design-related fields.
