About the position

Artemest is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in New York City. The Junior Interior Designer will play a crucial role in developing and executing conceptual design projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each project reflects the unique beauty and quality of Italian design. In this role, the designer will collaborate closely with clients and the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into creative design solutions. This includes preparing and presenting design proposals that encompass mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations. The designer will also be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Additionally, the Junior Interior Designer will oversee the selection and procurement of materials, furnishings, and finishes, ensuring that all design projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Staying updated with the latest trends in interior design and Italian craftsmanship is essential to maintain the brand's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute conceptual design projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into creative design solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in interior design, with significant experience in hospitality projects
  • Strong conceptual design, organizational, presentation, and technical skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and other design software
  • Ability to visualize in 3D and create compelling design presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
