About the position

The Junior Interior Designer at Robin Gannon Interiors, LLC is responsible for supporting the architectural design team and managing various aspects of interior design projects. This role involves direct client interaction, project management, and the creation of design presentations, ensuring that the firm's high standards of service and design excellence are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients for in-home consultations and project discussions.
• Measure client homes and input data into AutoCAD.
• Support the architectural design team with drawings for interior architecture.
• Create floor plans, elevations, sketches, renderings, and presentation boards.
• Develop project schedules and timelines for all design projects.
• Research and coordinate colors, finishes, fabrics, and hardware.
• Visit vendors for product sourcing and selection.
• Input information into Design Manager software for proposals and track products through installation.
• Manage and schedule subcontractors for project execution.
• Track and allocate hours worked on client projects for billing purposes.
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to client communications.
• Assist in organizing the office, filing systems, and client/vendor databases.
• Maintain and organize the fabric library as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design.
• 2-5 years of design experience with construction supervision and understanding of residential construction.
• Fluent in AutoCAD with at least 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and execute assigned tasks.

• Experience with construction management software.
