About the position

Stephanie Kraus Designs, LLC is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with a strong design sensibility and at least two years of experience. The role involves supporting lead designers from project conception through execution and installation, with a focus on high-end luxury residential design. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software, and will be expected to travel to project sites in the Wayne, PA and South Jersey area approximately 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Designer
• Attend all meetings and create meeting minutes
• Create Floorplans
• Create Moodboards and 3D renderings
• Experience with new construction design and/or renovations
• Create Finish Schedules
• Communicate with clients and vendors
• Conceptual Design
• Detailed and Technical Design
• Purchasing and Execution
• Surveying and documenting existing conditions
• Experience with millwork and construction drawings
• Preparing proposals, purchase orders, and invoices
• Styling and inventory Management

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a residential interior designer
• Bachelor's Degree in interior design, architecture, or interior architecture
• Great design sensibility and strong portfolio
• Great technical skills with strong knowledge of Chief Architect or REVITT and CAD
• Ability to focus on multiple projects in various stages of development
• Ability to work autonomously and manage assistants and clients as needed
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
