About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients, contributing to various design projects under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with principal designer to develop design concepts
• Assist in space planning and layout design
• Select furniture, fixtures, and finishes under the guidance of senior staff
• Create 2D and 3D renderings using software tools like Sketchup and Chief Architect
• Assist in project management tasks such as coordinating with vendors and contractors
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Sourcing Materials & Furnishings

Requirements

• Interior Design Degree
• 2-3 years experience in the industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for creating design presentations
• Knowledge of lighting design principles to enhance interior spaces
• Basic understanding of project management processes
• Ability to assist in building and remodeling projects
