About the position

The Junior Interior Designer role involves assisting in the design and management of interior spaces that meet clients' needs and preferences. The position requires a strong attention to detail, proficiency in design software, and the ability to manage various tasks related to project management and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.
• Prepare and file purchase orders, invoices, and balance due sheets.
• Manage vendor and client accounts.
• Update and manage social media accounts.
• Prepare quotations for clients and keep track of all options specified and offered.
• Assist on job sites, taking notes, measurements, and all necessary information; transcribe and follow up with client files.
• Support project management activities including budgeting and scheduling.
• Contribute to the sales process by preparing design proposals.
• Update digital and physical records to properly keep track of all invoices, pending orders, and options.

Requirements

• Interior Design Degree required.
• Must be very detail-oriented with knowledge of interior design principles and practices.
• Able to manage time efficiently.
• Strong office management and superior organization skills.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
• Ability to draft plans and layouts accurately.
• Experience in renovation projects and understanding of building processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in managing job sites.
• Proficiency in Adobe software.
• Rendering experience preferred.
