About the position

Belwood Investments is seeking a talented Junior Interior Designer to join their creative division in Newport Beach, CA. This full-time role involves assisting in the transformation of investment properties into unique and inviting spaces, providing an opportunity for a designer to develop their skills in the fast-paced real estate investment sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers on creating design concepts that align with Belwood's brand and investment goals.
• Prepare mood boards, presentations, and documentation to support project vision and direction.
• Source and select furniture, finishes, and decor that align with both budgetary and aesthetic goals.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Visit project sites to assist with measurements, installations, and quality control.
• Keep up with design trends and material innovations to bring fresh ideas to each project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in interior design (internship or entry-level experience ideal).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail with an enthusiasm for real estate and design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
