About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team at Leili Design Studio. This role involves assisting senior designers in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing residential spaces that meet client needs and exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of design presentations, including mood boards, color palettes, and material samples.
• Support the senior design team in creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit).
• Participate in site visits and project meetings to assess spaces and gather information for design proposals.
• Help source and select furniture, fixtures, and accessories that align with project requirements and client preferences.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Assist in the coordination with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure timely project completion.
• Contribute to the overall creative process by brainstorming and developing innovative design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software, and best practices to continuously improve design skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential interior design is required.
• Experience or coursework in lighting design, remodeling, budgeting, and project management will be considered a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with at least 1 year of experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Knowledge of budgeting and project management.
