About the position

MR Architecture & Decor is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join their Décor department. This role focuses on high-end residential and retail projects, requiring a blend of creativity and technical skills to assist in the design and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing decorative finishes, furnishings, and fabrics.
• Manage project documentation and coordinate furniture orders.
• Visit job sites to assist with décor and furniture installation phases.
• Collaborate with team members in a creative studio environment.

Requirements

• Interior Design degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years related professional experience.
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing project documentation.
• Experience in sourcing decorative finishes, furnishings, and fabrics.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and creative environment.
• Currently residing in the New York area and authorized to work in the US.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and QuickBooks.
