About the position
The Junior IT Asset Management Analyst at Delmock Technologies, Inc. is responsible for supporting the IT Asset Manager in maintaining the HAM Pro/SAM Pro modules, enhancing processes, and ensuring compliance with IT asset management standards. This role involves developing internal procedures, creating asset records, reconciling licenses, and preparing reports to improve efficiency and reduce risks associated with IT asset management.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, developing, and documenting IT hardware and software asset management processes and procedures.
- Leading projects to implement process, system, and asset management tool improvements.
- Maintaining policy, process, standards, and procedure documentation.
- Monitoring ITAM standards control compliance.
- Producing system metrics and KPIs, and assisting in producing reports and scorecards.
- Monitoring data quality and coordinating verification activities.
- Reconciling software licenses against installed instances to measure and report on compliance.
- Administering the IT Hardware and Software asset modules in ServiceNow.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience working in IT Asset Management.
- Experience in analyzing IT asset data for cost, risk, and compliance.
- Experience with managing IT assets through the lifecycle.
- Understanding of software licensing and hardware configurations.
- Experience with Inventory Management Systems, ServiceNow Asset Module, Microsoft SCCM.
- Experience maintaining an IT Hardware or Software asset repository.
- Experience producing reports and presentations.
- Knowledge of Asset Management best practices.
- Working knowledge of asset discovery tools such as SCCM and ServiceNow.
